Walking into my first class at Winona State, I had no clue what was in store for me for the next four years, what opportunities would arise, and all that I would learn. During the summer between my sophomore and junior year, I was able to go on a trip with my family to France and the United Kingdom. This trip has been one of the most impactful experiences in my life.
As a creative and curious 23-year-old, I enjoy investigating how things function and operate within society. I catch myself often thinking that there is only one way, or the right way, for how things can operate. In reality, there are thousands of societies operating in completely different ways for different purposes. Over time those actions become ingrained into the daily life of that culture; to the point where everyone thinks their way–is the only way.
